Yes — pencil.in is designed with solo and small operators in mind. Zero monthly fees, only the features you need.
Does it handle payments?
Not yet. We focus on availability and bookings. Keep your existing payment flow (cash on site, bank transfer, Stripe link, etc.).
Can I show booking notes or policies on the booking page?
Yes. You can customize the message shown on the confirmation page and email — useful for cancellation policies, gear handling notes, and arrival instructions.
Will double bookings ever happen?
No. The database itself prevents overlapping bookings on the same room or piece of gear at the same time.
